In collaboration with SURVICE Engineering, Malloy Aeronautics has recently released the ULS-A (Unmanned Logistics System–Air), an autonomous multirotor unmanned drone capable of logistics resupply in emergency situations. This autonomous unmanned aerial vehicle is equipped with sensors that help it to be fully aware of its surroundings. The High Performance Robotics Lab at the UC Berkley, funded by the Berkeley Fellowship for Graduate Study, and the NSF GRFP, developed a quadcopter that can change its shape mid-flight, operate in four configurations, and has the ability to continue hovering in three of the configurations.
